Ih that governments and companies have, however, actions and results are still lacking so that pollution decreases.
The effects derived from plastic waste, the France Mobile Number List depletion of aquifers, forests, air degradation and soil contamination are part of the impact of environmental pollution.
In Mexico, most residents may believe that Mexico City is the most polluted city in the country, however, this is not the case.
Most polluted cities in Mexico
Mexicali, Toluca and Ecatepec are the most contaminated places in Mexico. They have PM 2.5 particles, which present a medium and long-term health risk, according to a report by AirVisual .
In the report called 2018 World Air Quality Report, it was found that of the 3 thousand cities analyzed, 64% of them exceeded the PM2.5 limit, recommended by the World Health Organization, which is 0 to 10 μg/m³.
These particles vary in size and the smallest ones are called PM2.5 and the largest ones are called PM10. PM2.5 is small enough to pass the lung's natural filter and enter the bloodstream.
In Mexico, 13 cities listed by AirVisual had “moderate” quantities of these particles during 2018.
According to the study, this implies that “sensitive people should avoid outdoor activity, as they may experience respiratory symptoms.”
It was Mexicali that reported an average of 30 μg/m³, with months reaching more than 40 μg/m³, an amount considered unhealthy for some sensitive groups.
The following cities on the list are located in the State of Mexico: Toluca had 26.4 μg/m³; Ecatepec, 24.9 μg/m³; Tlalnepantla, 23.7 μg/m³ and Nezahualcóyotl 22.8 μg/m³.
CDMX is in tenth place on the list of most polluted cities according to the AirVisual report.

During 2018 it had an average of 19.7 μg/m³ of PM2.5 particles. Monterrey was located in the next point, with 17.2 μg/m³.
According to the report, “Air pollution is the biggest environmental health risk today, contributing to an estimated 7 million premature deaths each year. Polluted air is the fourth leading cause of premature death in the world and burdens the global economy with an estimated annual cost of $225 billion.”
The report also says that the most common sources of PM include combustion (from vehicle engines, industry, burning wood and coal), as well as through other pollutants that react in the atmosphere.
